Continue to the coastal town of Swakopmund, known for its charming German architecture and adventure activities such as sandboarding, quad biking, and marine tours along the Atlantic coast.
The adventure leads you north to Damaraland, a wild, remote region known for desert-adapted elephants, ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, and the surreal landscapes of the Brandberg Mountain. The journey from Windhoek to Fish River Canyon offers a mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences. We pass briefly through the city to explore christ church, independence memorial and local markets to stock up on supplies before heading south.
We drive through Rehobooth and Mariental and enjoy scienic views through Kalahari red sand dunes and acacia trees. Optional stop at Quiver Tree Forest and Giant’s Playground, and explore unique aloe trees, perfect for photography at sunrise or sunset.
Arrival at Fish River Canyon, we visit viewpoints like Hobas for stunning canyon views and sunset. Short walks, birdwatching, stargazing, and a visit to Ai-Ais Hot Springs.

Spend a night here and proceed the following day to Sossusvlei.
Depart Fish River in the morning. Stop at Canyon Roadhouse or Hobas for lunch and scenic views. Drive midday to Sesriem, where we shall spend two overnights near Sesriem in the park for early sunrise access
We head out before dawn for Dune 45, Deadvlei, and Big Daddy. Return via the same route or continue to visit sesriem canyon, we shall have breakfast in the dunes and then lunch later.
Have breakfast and start the tour of walvis bay town including the Pink lake, Walvis Bay, lagoon and Beach, proceed to swakopmund and tour the town, jetty. Tour skeleton cost and the seal colony. Spend three nights in either walvis bay or swakopmund. Explore other optional activities like Desert Quadbiking, desert camel rides and sandune rallies.
Early morning proceed to Damaraland drive through Arandis, explore s Spitzkoppe (Rock paintings) and Damara living Museum.The following drive to Etosha National Park.
Early breakfast and head for a 3 hrs game drive to view the game, and later in the evening visit the Okaukujo water hole to see the nocturnal animals. The following day head to Etosha Salt Pan and also visit Omapaha Himba Village near Etosha National Park.
Return to Windhoek to catch your flight and that makes the end of our 12 days explosive Namibia Safari.
