16 Days Great East African Safari

Join us on an incredible 16-day adventure through East Africa, where you’ll explore stunning landscapes and meet amazing wildlife. This safari will take you from gorilla trekking in the mountains of Rwanda or Uganda to the vast open plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve and the iconic Serengeti National Park, finishing with a relaxing beach holiday in Zanzibar.

On this journey, you’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with endangered mountain gorillas, as well as tracking fascinating chimpanzees and golden monkeys in their natural environments. You’ll also take exciting game drives in Kenya’s Masai Mara and Tanzania’s Serengeti, where you might even witness the incredible Great Migration and see a variety of wild animals in action.

By evening, arrive at your accommodation near the Kazinga Channel, where the sounds of hippos will serenade you.
Prepare for an exhilarating morning game drive through the diverse habitats of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will encounter elephants, buffalo, leopards, and over 95 other mammal species roaming the savannah! After a midday break, embark on a spectacular 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Get up close and personal with hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible array of water birds. This full day of your East African safari explores the rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara National Reserve, known locally as "Mara", meaning "spotted" in the Maa language. Morning and afternoon East African safari game drives traverse the savanna in search of the Mara's famous lion prides, leopards, and cheetahs. Between East African safari activities, visit a traditional Maasai village just 45 minutes from your lodge to learn about their fascinating semi-nomadic culture and deep connection to the land.
Your East African safari journey takes you across the Kenya-Tanzania border via a short flight to the endless plains of the serengeti National park spanning approximately 14,750 square kilometers.
